Job Description:
Nanomotion R&D is developing variable motion system based on our proprietary piezoelectric motors.
Application are very divers, supporting the semiconductor industry with below 1nm accuracy for wafer handling, BioMED application, optical systems for defense application and space programs.
The Mechanical engineer is responsible for developing and designing a multidiscipline system. Work leveraging a cross-functional skillset across multiple applicable engineering disciplines (Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.) to help solve complex engineering problems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design accurate motion system in accordance with product requirements as established from various sources including marketing, manufacturing and customer specification documents.
- Structure, frequency and dynamic analysis.
- Document, implement and test applicable design requirements for production. This includes supporting transfer of relevant design output documents, recommended test instructions, and service troubleshooting support.
- Collaborate closely and frequently with Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, and Embedded Software Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs.
- Failure analysis and troubleshooting for existing product.
Job Requirements:
- Bsc. degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of mechanical design development experience, working directly with multidiscipline systems
- Experience with SolidWorks software and FEA simulations.
- Hands on experiences with multidiscipline system
- Good English verbal and written communications skills.
- Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
