Velox The Advanced Surveillance Solution

At the heart of Velox’s capabilities is its sophisticated camera system, designed specifically for UAV applications. This system includes a 12M pixel visible UAV camera and an uncooled 640 x 512 LWIR thermal camera for drone operations, ensuring clear, high-resolution images across various conditions. Velox’s sensing payload, featuring cameras for drones, is equipped with night vision (LWIR) and motion sensor capabilities, offering unmatched surveillance in low-light conditions. The advanced imaging technology, including a dedicated camera for drone use, makes Velox an invaluable tool for both daytime and nighttime operations, providing reliable surveillance in diverse environments. Furthermore, optional analytics features enable outdoor motion sensor security camera functions and thermal imaging Detection, Recognition, and Identification (DRI) through UAV cameras. This technology is specifically designed for robust environmental adaptability, making it ideal for monitoring and securing outdoor areas in various weather and lighting conditions with thermal cameras for drones.

What sets Velox apart is its gyro-stabilized platform, ensuring images are clear and stable, even in challenging conditions. Controlled by Mavlink commands via the Nvidia NX platform, Velox boasts an impressive 230°/sec angular velocity. Its dynamic range of travel is ±174° in Azimuth and -30° to +110° in Elevation, offering extensive coverage and flexibility in operation.

Compact and lightweight, Velox measures just 71mm in diameter and 130mm in height, weighing less than 430g. This compact size does not compromise its performance; instead, it enhances its applicability in various operational scenarios. The payload supports Video Output for both EO and IR cameras, utilizing MIPI CSII-2 6Gb (4 Lane) for the EO camera and USB2 (standard UVC) for the IR camera.
Additionally, Velox’s high dynamics and high endurance performance enable large amplitude vibration compensation. This feature is crucial for operations in low light levels and for the thermal camera, ensuring no image blur and maintaining high-quality surveillance outputs.
In conclusion, Velox represents a significant leap forward in surveillance technology. Its blend of advanced imaging, gyro stabilization, and compact design makes it an indispensable tool for various applications, ensuring enhanced safety and security in an increasingly complex world.
