The RR08 is RoHS Compliant, utilizing a silent, miniature piezo actuator in an 8mm x 20mm package including the drive electronics. The RS08 is designed to work from a 3.3v battery and supports travel ranges from 35° to 120°. Shutter blades can vary in size and material, up to a 25mm diameter paddle. Using Nanomotion’s proprietary feedback system, the shutter is fully operational as a closed loop device, stopping on electrical limits to avoid any noise from a mechanical hardstop.

Utilizing Nanomotion’s family of miniature, low voltage piezo motors, small modules are designed to move a lens precisely along the optical axis. This module contains the entire closed loop axis, with motor, feedback and servo control.
A miniature focus (or focus & zoom) module fits inside a 25mm cubic volume, providing >8mm travel and closed loop position resolution to 0.24µm.

Velox is an advanced miniature gyro stabilized EO/IR 2-axis payload for day and night surveillance and area dominance applications. High dynamics – high endurance performance enables large amplitude vibration compensation, allowing operation in low light level and thermal camera with no blur. The Payload is equipped with high end optics 12M pixel VIS camera and uncooled IR 640 x 512 Camera. The line of sight is stabilized by a closed loop control system. It achieves stabilization of elevation and azimuth axes with the assistance of the gyroscope and encoders sensors to a level of 80μRad.

XCD-Edge Controller Evaluation Kit

The XCD EDGE Evaluation Kit is a closed loop positioning system. The kit’s purpose is to allow the user to evaluate the XCD EDGE controller driver and the Nanomotion EDGE motor. The controller driver drives the EDGE motor in linear mode. The controller driver provides positioning control for one axis, with configurable motion profile and servo parameters.

The controller driver supports user programming, using a Nanomotion proprietary XCD Motion Script (XMS). With the XMS, the user can define a complex sequence of motions along with sophisticated calculations and execution control. The user can store a preprogrammed XMS program in the controller’s flash memory, and execute it at power up.
